Gretchen Malalad is one of the "Women of the World" Awardee of Marie Claire Magazine. The awarding ceremony was aired in a show hosted by Ms. Daphne Oseña Paez, "Proudly Filipina" in QTV 11. Malalad, a three-time SEA Games karatedo medallist and currently the newest addition to ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs’ roster of news reporter, is the sole recipient of this recognition in the field of sports.
