Gretchen’s karate summer clinic
Sunday, April 15th, 2007KIDS can learn karate the easier way this summer with three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Gretchen Malalad.
Registration for the karate summer clinics is still ongoing at the Greenwoods Place located at Greenwoods Ave. corner Palmeto St. (beside Focus Salon), Greenwoods Subdivision, Pasig City.
Sessions are held every Thursdays from 5-6:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 10-11:30 a.m.
"It's a good opportunity for the kids to learn the basics of karate. It's not only discipline that they will get from their training, they have a chance to meet new friends and promote camaraderie," said Malalad.
Malalad will personally handle the training alongside with her elder brother Jean Marc Malalad, who is a
former member of the national karate pool. The karate summer clinic is supported by the Karate Development Arts & Sports (KDA) club.
