Tuesday, December 12th, 2006Gretchen Malalad, our bet for Karate, -60 kg individual kumite event, is set to compete on December 13, 2006 (today) at Doha, Qatar at exactly 1:00pm (Qatar Time) (6:00pm Philippine Time).
This will be shown on Channel 4’s coverage of the Doha Asian Games.

She reported for the entrant’s interview barely a week after her cast was removed and said: “I really had a hard time learning how to walk and pose like a beauty queen because I move and walk like a man! Nevertheless it was a great experience. Unforgettable.” She did not make the final 15 of the pageant but walked away with the ‘Miss Talent’ award, thanks to her karate demonstration.
